点评：Over the years, I have attended this establishment in its previous incarnations, through different owners and names.
I can hand on heart say.
I have never experienced the level of fun and service from all the staff that work there this time round.
Lyndon has really put together an incredible team and environment, a sure fire sign of his experience and love of his profession. There is always a greeting smile and a fun quip or introduction awaiting.
It’s a welcoming environment and quirky to boot, just check out the fun framed pictures that change frequently.
Every single member of The Phoenix team are fantastic and they know there stuff!
A huge plethora of Gin’s at the ready and some incredible guest crafts with the most outlandish names!
There is always something happening, be it the Quiz Monday, Retro Thursday, or what ever pops up in between.
I would always recommend here for a quick drink or even an evening out!
And the food.
Suffice to say its the best pizza I’ve ever had. Impasto Pizza know their stuff! And it’s such a welcoming thought to know its all made fresh on the day, and prepared with care and a level of craftsmanship that most could only wish to achieve.
The attentiveness of the creator of such a fine pizza to come over a check how everything was whilst the bar was packed full, shows a real level of commitment to their craft and a real dedication to their profession!
Of all the pizza places I have visited in my years, this has been the only place I have actively recommended, and for good reason! I have even gone as far as recommended my clients to come here, and they have all come back with glowing praise!
The phoenix is such a great environment, that even the most wayward traveler would feel instantly welcome. They even remember the drinks you ordered after a single interaction.
If your looking for a few drinks and/or a bite to eat. Go on in! Play some retro consoles, and get stuck in!
You wont regret it.
