点评：We booked for the evening of Thursday 4th July, a party of 8 for my Dad’s 90th birthday celebration. We booked well in advance the lovely duty manager that day locked in our booking to guarantee the table we needed as we had a couple of people with disabilities, one in a wheelchair and on oxygen, so we wanted a little more space. 2 of us arrived early to decorate the table and the rest all arrived at 5.30. We had a fabulous time, the starters (chicken goujons and prawns were great. We chose the fish pie cake, tikka masala, smothered chicken and it was all good, there was no time pressure on the table, the food was great and we didn’t mind occasionally queuin at the bar to order drinks and food as it’s so much better than constantly being asked ‘are you ready to order yet’ every 5 mins. All the staff were lovely and Dad was chuffed to be given a box of chocolates by the pub. We particularly loved the young lady behind the bar who we had a great laugh with. Not sure of her name (Andie maybe?) but we know she’s 5 foot tall as the member of our party with dwarfism had a good laugh with her. Thanks for making it special all.
