点评:Had our first visit today,
Positives first, we enjoyed the burgers and fries, my son had a milkshake which he said was really nice.
The burgers were meaty and good quality although not the biggest.
The kids got stickers which they really enjoyed and they thought the big inflatable burger outside was funny.
They’d definitely visit again.
The negatives, I loathe having to order at the table using my phone, I’m only 40 so not a technophobe but if I’m paying to go out, unless I’m in a fast food chain, it’s nice to get some service, I don’t want to do any work, it’s meant to be a treat!
I had no signal so it was a painstaking task, I had to call a member of staff over to ask if there was any WiFi. He told me there was and pointed to a slogan on the menu that was the password. I then had to call him back to clarify if it was lower case, upper case etc.
We had a question about some of the food, so had to get his attention again.
Went to input our drinks orders but the Pepsi etc that was listed on the paper menu, couldn’t be found on the online menu… so we called him back again. I was getting a bit peeved at this point and it turned out the only cola option was actually a £3.30 bottle and there was no Pepsi or draft sodas available as advertised on the menu.
The drinks arrived but there were no glasses or anything so I presumed I had to just drink out the bottle, which I don’t like.
After the food came, we were told we had to go and get our own sauces etc. it would have been nice to have been told that before our food arrived, this is a big part of the problem with ordering online from the table.
When my husband went up, he found some lovely Unit sauces (very tasty) and drinking glasses.
We also realised at this point we could have paid at the counter, we were never told this though, we were told to order on our phones.
I didn’t tip because aside from the actual cooking, I felt we’d done all the work!
A lot of this could be all be resolved with better communication and a little more service. Let people know the options, ask if they’d like a glass, explain the ordering process etc.
Cost just over £60 for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Not sure if I’d choose to go again but the kids probably would.
