点评:I have tried to support this establishment twice recently. First they were closed to dining service, out of the blue. But I took it on the chin, thinking that I should have phoned to book a table.
Second time I ordered takeaway and while I expected it to take a while, the problem was that it took over 45 minutes from when I received the email that said it was out for delivery! I’m only ten minutes drive away, so after half an hour I phoned them to see if the driver was having trouble finding me, and they said five minutes. Ten minutes later I called again. They said two minutes. Five minutes later I called again. They hung up on me.
The food did arrive eventually but it was pretty cold and the driver said he’d come from Caversham, which is puzzling given the restaurant is in West Reading and they only needed to bring it to Tilehurst!
I’ve had some great experiences with them in the past but I wonder if they have had a change of management or something? This was not up to their previous standards.
