点评：Spitiko is a jewel of a restaurant in Caversham. The extensive menu is proper Greek food (unlike another Greek restaurant in the middle of Reading, which has an eatery menu). Everything on the menu is excellently prepared and cooked, very tasty, and delightfully presented on their plates. This is a Chef Class restaurant at normal restaurant prices. Care has been taken to ensure that even the ordinary, like chips, look wonderful and are indeed very tasty. Please note, the gallery pictures are old and of the previous ownership, nothing like what is provided today.
The restaurant has a nice happy warm atmosphere to it. Ketty (the host) is always ready to help in any way and has a great sense of humour too. If you need any advice or would like to discuss a menu arrangement beforehand, phone/Email, and kitty will gladly oblige, to ensure your evening is a happy one.
This is a restaurant worth travelling to, and actually, with the inexpensive Chester Street Car Park right next door.
Greek food is able to be enjoyed by most people. Go there and have a feast. I did, and was totally surprised by a restaurant that exceeded all expectations in every way.
