The Tap House的点评
点评：Hidden up an alley connecting two streets is this lovely little pub!
It has a very unique system (although I suspect it will become more commonplace soon).
Upon entering the staff take your name and you are provided with a plastic card.
This is connected to your 'tab' and you place it in a slot on one of the many beer pumps and pour away. The amount you have spent to date is displayed in the corner of the screen and you can have as few or as many pints, halves etc. as you like!
The choice of beers is vast and there were also ciders and lagers available as well as wine.
Pizzas were also available to order although I didn't try these.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming and happy to help you choose your beer and show you how everything works.
I ended up having around two and a half pints in total over three different IPA's which cost me around £12 so given the average price of a pint it's pretty much on par.
Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you like your ales - no more queuing at the bar!
