点评：We just enjoyed an interesting and well-cooked Italian dinner at Nuovo in the centre of Northampton. The menu features an Italian take on a tapas restaurant, offering a wide variety of Italian dishes in small servings (most provided a reasonable helping for two persons of each recipe). There were pastas, salads, meats and dishes which could be seen as traditional starters. In our case, we ordered six or seven dishes; all were excellent. Despite being located on what I took to be Northampton's run-down old high street, the restaurant itself was a delight. Nuovo is a large, high-ceilinged space with several dozen tables, and on the Friday evening we visited it was packed and party-like. The team operated like clock-work, although the wait staff had enough time to chat with customers. The atmosphere was noisy, in the best possible sense, and we felt we had chosen the place to be of an evening. All staff were both friendly and knowledgeable. Service was efficient, despite the restaurant being full. To top it all off, the price for our tasty meal was reasonable. Congratulations.
