Very Disappointing Customer Service

点评：We booked a PYO visit here, there were to be 5 members of our family going (including an 83 year old and a 5 month old baby). The trip was booked for a Mother’s Day present across four generations.
On the morning of the visit, a Yellow Weather warning was in place and the Met Office forecast thunderstorms and lightening at 11am (in the middle of our 10-12 visit). We tried to call at 7.40am but no-one answered so we left a message, we also tried calling a further two times and emailed to say we were concerned about the weather. We asked if we could delay our visit until the afternoon as the forecast was better, or to rearrange our visit. We were concerned about the weather for the more vulnerable members of our party and we also had to drive for an hour and 20 minutes to get there. No-one called us back to discuss this and so we reluctantly made the decision not to go.
We were contacted by the owner at 7.30pm to say that she was unable to offer us another session in the circumstances and we had lost our money. We explained the situation, but she was totally un-relenting and said the weather turned out to be ok and that we could have attended. She completely failed to acknowledge the forecasted weather (of which we had proof by the way of a screenshot of the forecast of the exact location). Because no-one contacted us until later that evening, we had no opportunity to discuss this with her.
Apparently - according to the website - they can cancel a session if there is snow or torrential rain (which was forecast in the yellow weather warning) but we can only rearrange or get a refund if there is a red weather warning in place. Unbelievable!
Would be very mindful of the above before booking a visit to this place.
