点评：I run a Meet-up group in York for women and Charlie hosted 15 of us for a cocktail masterclass and pizza! We had our own password to enter the speakeasy and Charlie (and Sam) had set up the tables in a lovely way which meant we could move around and talk to each other.
We had a welcome cocktail, made two cocktails in the masterclass and had a pizza each (lots of different toppings available and so tasty)! All the drinks were delicious and not typical ones you’ll find around in other bars in York.
Charlie is a lovely women and a fantastic host as she’s warm, fun and engaging. I got feedback from all those who attended who want to come back for casual drinks and other evenings like the tarot reading and blues night that run weekly/monthly.
The other thing I wanted to mention is that before I booked this event, I went with a friend to taste the pizza and cocktails that would be included in the cocktail masterclass. We didn’t realise Charlie only opened up for us and were really touched as she went the extra mile for us.
So I’d definitely recommend for the great atmosphere, the delicious pizza, tasty cocktails and a local business whose owned by a lovely lady!
