点评:Recently had dinner at Lima Cantina and whilst it was ok, it was just sadly another example of a London restaurant overcharging and under-delivering for Peruvian food. I wish there was a truly authentic Peruvian restaurant in London where portion sizes aren’t miniscule, and where the dishes mirrored more what you would find in Lima, Peru. Lomo saltado for £32, that prob used less than 1 tomato, half a red onion and a few bits of steak… and then chose to replace chips (always served with saltado) with a few tiny new potatoes. Just wrong. Flavour was decent, but the dish was just so far away from what I was hoping for.
Pisco sours were ok, but definitely not perfect. So overall, fine. Nice place, friendly staff, but not what I was hoping to find. Nothing has ever replaced La Fina Estampa (closed many years ago sadly) in London for truly authentic Peruvian food.
