Profiting off of confusion.
Santander Cycles by Transport for London的点评
点评：Scam artists. They tell you in clear language on the App that you're paying £2 for 24 hours... But then they slyly charge you an extra £2 for every half hour (unless you dock it every 30 minutes?) What complete nonsense.
I told them to please make this more clear on the app because people are being misled unnecessarily, and requested a refund for the confusion they caused. They told me it was my responsibility as a customer to know what I am paying for.
This is an interesting policy, because surely, as a service provider, it is YOUR responsibility to tell people in clear language what they are buying? Not to hide the price in your terms and conditions/ the bottom of emails? Surely it's against the law to falsely advertise? It's almost like they want to... trick people... instead of operating an honest and fair business...
I hope they prove me wrong and change the dishonest language on their app. If not, then I hope this review costs them more than the £4 they refused to refund me.
