点评：In general, certain food items are served and expected to be consumed with an accompanying item...in this case , a favorite food item such as 'Hummus' normally includes bread..How else is one to eat hummus? So the bread was an extra @ £2.99 !! The starters ( Hummus and Shirazi salad ) were placed on small dishes with no plate underneath it...as a consequence, bits of the salad would overflow unto to the tablecloth ...Napkins were paper-type ...which did not go well with the tablecloth and the ambiance of the restaurant.
Drinks ordered were Coca Cola, which arrived in the bottle (330ml) @ an unbelievably exorbitant £3.99 !! ( Nice mark-up )
The food..Soltani ( kebabs - 1 x minced, 1 x flat steak ) both tasteless ...absolutely tasteless!! Did not even have an aroma to it...This came in an unheated flat , elongated dish , with a small tomato, decorated with some sliced vegetables ( Carrots etc )
Stew of Gheimeh Badenjam was overly stuffed with lentils and a few lumps of lamb pieces..
Service charge which is NOT voluntary/discretionary was at 12.5%..
All in all, I do not think much of this restaurant and consequently would NOT be going to again...especially when there is another Persian restaurant 2 shops further down.
The owners give an air of high end class restaurant...it is NOT ...They make it out as if it is , but judging by the food etc, they have a long way to go...and I would be surprised if they were in business in 6/8 months time...Good luck to them ...
