点评:This restaurant in the Kensal Rise area of London was recommended to me, so I went for a late lunch on a Saturday around 3pm to try it out. It's decor is impressive with it's brightly coloured walls festooned with pictures of Brazilian themes. There are two floors for dining; a street-level and a basement, both of which are equipped with a number of wide-screen TV's showing concerts of Brazilian music. By the time I'd sat down, I felt decidedly tropical! I ordered a glass of house red, a bottle of sparkling water and a Bife Acebolado (a minute steak with onions, rice, greens and salad) and finished with a Mousse de Maracujá (passion fruit mousse) dessert. The portions were generous and the main dish tasty, given the beef was quite a bit overdone for my liking - it seems they only do well-done steak in Brazil. But the passion fruit mousse was probably the best I've ever had; it was light and full of flavour, the taste lasting long after the dessert was finished. A glass of house red; £7.50, the main course: £16.00, mousse : £5.50, water : £4.50 and an expresso; £2.50 - all of which, given that it's in London, is not bad at all. Service can be a bit pedestrian and two different waitresses asked me confirm what I'd ordered which I thought was strange. It may be a bit of a trek from a tube station, but I'd say it's still worth a visit, especially if you want to get into the tropical spirit.
