The Grapes in Thornton的点评
点评：First visit as recommended by a friend. First impression pub looked a bit worn but was clean so not bothered about that. Bit of a wait at the bar to find out where our table was and to get drinks as only one serving. Very impressive menu, so much choice took a while to pick . Ordered 2 sausage and onion mash, one vegetarian. When served I didn’t notice at first that I had half the gravy my husband had. There wasn’t enuf so I asked the waitress for more. Nothing came after ten minutes and I couldn’t see the waitress so had to ask the barmen to see where it was. He was apologetic and went to the kitchen. Eventually he came back with the gravy by which time my husband had finished his meal and mine was cold. My husband mentioned it to the waitress when she came to collect the plates and her response was “it’s not my fault, the gravy comes in frozen” She was working alone, it was very busy and she was rushed off her feet but her attitude wasn’t great. The question has to be asked why I didn’t have a full jug of gravy in the first place. We will try again as the food, choice and value was good but it wasn’t a great first impression
翻译：朋友推荐的第一次光临。第一印象酒吧看起来有点破旧但很干净所以并不在意。在吧台等了一会儿才知道我们的桌子在哪里并拿到饮料因为只有一份。菜单令人印象深刻，选择太多了，花了一段时间才选好。点了 2 份香肠洋葱泥，1 份素食。上菜时我一开始没注意到我的肉汁只有我丈夫的一半。肉汁不够所以我问服务员要了更多。十分钟后什么也没上来，我又没看到服务员所以只好问酒保在哪里。他很抱歉然后去了厨房。最后他拿着肉汁回来了，那时我丈夫已经吃完了，我的肉汁已经冷了。服务员来收盘子时我丈夫跟她提了这件事，她的回答是“这不是我的错，肉汁是冻着的”。她一个人在工作，非常忙，忙得不可开交，但她的态度不是很好。必须要问的是，为什么我一开始没点满满一壶肉汁。我们会再去试试，因为食物、选择和性价比都不错，但第一印象不太好。
