点评:We reserved for 10, added a pre-auth, and turned up (30 minutes late, but we did notify them). The place was half-empty, our party arrived gradually and we spent hundreds at the bar – only to later find they’d sneakily charged us £60 for supposedly "breaking their terms". No warning, no call, no explanation, just a charge.
Totally understandable if we hadn't turned up or it was otherwise full but that wasn't the case. After the threat of 10 negative reviews they finally called and admitted we hadn't broken any terms. The charge has now been refunded, but the damage is done and we're never returning to this predatory outfit.
Times are tough in hospitality of course but here's a tip for Bierkeller management - trying to rip off the customers who actually turn up and spend money isn't the way.
