点评：We are (were) not only regular customers, much more. We used to come here sometimes multiple times per week.
We even used to send them our clients when they asked recommendations for good restaurants in Liverpool city centre.
When the young guy is at the counter everything is fine: he is nice and polite.
Unfortunately the women are not. Especially the young, short one with glasses.
The other night our baby (3 years old) was not eating much. He only seemed to enjoy the 1 meatball that came with our dish.
I approached the ladies at the counter asking for 2 more extra meatballs saying I was obviously happy to pay for them.
“We don’t sell them alone”
I explained it was for the baby and that I was happy to pay even if they were not on the menu on their own.
“We don’t sell them alone”
So I said if they could go in the kitchen and grab 2 for the baby even if they didn’t SELL them (2 freaking meatballs) as a goodwill gesture towards a 3 years old baby.
The young lady looked at me disgusted like the saw the Gruffalo saying “and you want them for free? Without paying for them??”
Wtf I mentioned I was happy to pay for them 3 times… 3!!
No meatballs were given.
We had to go back home and make dinner for the baby.
This young lady is talented in providing the worse customer experience in the whole Country. The old one useless; didn’t move 1 finger to fix a simple problem like this.
Absolutely shocking. She must be unhappy with her life if she can be mean to a 3 years old.
I worked in restaurants for a long time and I never witnessed something like this like 2 meatballs could be a problem. Ever.
They lost 3 loyal customers over 2 meatballs (that I asked 3 times to pay).
Horrific - shocking - shame shame
If I were the owner I’d be very concerned about it.
