The King John的点评
点评：My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city, the Cavern Quarter when we decided to drop into The King John Pub,been here before, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit.
I love the look of this pub,interior is superb, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, lovely decor and furnishings with a definitive medieval theme here and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Mathew Street.
We arrived on the happy hour, lucky us,happy beers,we got pints of beer from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and at only £2.60p a pint amazing value for a city centre pub, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub while we sipped our beers.
My beer was really good, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a delicious beer and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world.
We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The King John Pub we had a great time.
The King John Pub is easy to locate along Mathew Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and a major tourist destination.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, open from midday.
Well worth checking out if you're in the Cavern Quarter of Liverpool.
