点评:Well I think disaster is possibly too kind a word. The real boat was broken down, so we had to go on a dinghy, powered , well for the first 25 foot , by a couple of car batterys.
Many of the occupants were elderly with mobility issues. Game fully they struggled down the swinging ladder. We broke down and even a second battery was of no use. Unfortunately in the captains haste to change it over she pulled out the stopper causing water to start filling the boat. By this time we had become something of a spectacle, with the owners of the local Greek Taverna particularly enthralled in a horror struck way. Plug reinserted, we limped back with the aide of 1 paddle and two young female window cleaners who grabbed the rope. The fun continued when some of the occupants required assistance to depart due to a 3 foot step. They were humped onto the side in a most undignified way. I could see the funny side of it all but really there was no way 8 people should have been in that boat. Would I do it again? Not without a large dose of Valium!
