点评：We visited this restaurant recently and, unfortunately, our experience was far from relaxing. When we arrived, there was a large group of 15 loud men occupying most of the space, leaving only two smaller tables of four. We were at one of those, and due to the lack of any sound absorption, the noise level was overwhelming, we could hardly hear ourselves think.
Ordering drinks was a challenge. I was told Sauvignon Blanc wasn’t available by the glass, and while they eventually opened a bottle for me, it was done so reluctantly. The Prosecco served to us was flat and had to be returned.
The food itself was good, but the service was disappointing throughout. Staff seemed disengaged and inattentive. The noise didn’t end with the large group leaving as staff were loudly banging the coffee machine all night even when all other guests had left so I presume they were cleaning it. It was particularly frustrating as it was the first moment we could actually hear ourselves speak.
To make matters worse, they began noisily scraping chairs and tables across the floor to reset the room, breaking down the large table. It was intrusive and made us feel like we were in the way and wanting us to leave, rather than paying guests. When we asked for the bill, the lady laughed and continued her conversation with a staff member, before then acknowledging us. We felt like we were on stitch up, it was laughable!
We left without so much as a thank you or goodbye. It felt like we were an afterthought. Sadly, despite the quality of the food, the overall experience was unpleasant. We won’t be returning.
