点评：The food was outstanding, such high quality and in comparison to other local restaurants that are well known for good food and fine dining this hotel just blows them out the park. Fantastic chef, beautiful setting.
My only concern was the front of house, the man who welcomed us seemed a little slap dash and not very appreciative of our custom. Given we hadn’t booked in advance, we simply called in for lunch when passing, we seemed to be an inconvenience to him. We watched how he spoke to other customers and there was an obvious difference in the way in which he treated us in comparison to the other guests. For example, he threw our napkins on our lap crumpled up, he might aswell have not bothered at all and just left it to us. It actually made us laugh as he walked away and my husband questioned what was that about? we must have upset him by not booking in advance!
No offence was taken we’re local and are fairly easy going, but as someone who has visited many beautiful hotels and restaurants all over the world this wasn’t very professional, given the vibe and reputation of the hotel.
