Lakes Outdoor Experience的点评
点评：What a day!
My wife and I were looking for a day kayaking in the lakes to really get to grips with kayaking skills. We found Iain online, and after a quick chat, planned a whole day on Ullswater.
I'd also asked if we could spend any downtime on the day learning 101 orienteering skills.
What can I say... It was the adventure highlight of our trip! Weather was poor in the morning, so we shuffled the day to spend the morning learning all about mapping, pacing, wayfinding etc - had an awesome time navigating the hills around Glenridding and Iain taught us about the trees/landscapes too.
Then we hit the kayaks in the afternoon. Bit windy, shallow waters because of the recent dry spells, but great fun.
Iain was super encouraging, flexible, and got us trying things we'd not done before. Built so much confidence in the foundational skills you MUST have when going hiking.
The day was brilliant, even more adventurous and educational than we could have imagined 🙌 great fun.
