点评：Looking at the other reviews there is a trend here. We arrived at just after 12 o'clock. About 12 people were eating. The reception desk was unattended and the bar staff were not bothered about us. We were eventually shown to our seat by one of the waitresses who was delightful and very helpful. We waited in the queue of the Calvery and the server arrived after about 10 minutes.
So; the Pork my wife had was dry; I had the beef brisket which was really good. Our Yorkshire puddings were like cardboard. Hull is in Yorkshire as you know; so you would expect the "yorkshires" to be good. The roast potatoes had been around a long time and quite dry and hard as if they had been reheated from the previous night and the veg were cold as was the gravy..a theme running through many reviews.
My wife found her food inedible. The people on the next table were also complaining but they didn't want to make a fuss!!
Whoever manages this Calvery needs to get things sorted; the management at Mitchells & Butlers PLC should go there for their lunch incognito. Its a shambles!
