点评：We have been to the Royal a couple of times now in fact when down in Broadstairs we walk to Ramsgate and the Royal is our first port of call for a beer.
We have never had any problems with service and my husband enjoys it as he can watch a few football games on the wide screen TVs when they are playing.
The drinks are reasonably priced and we had the two meals for £6 and cannot complain about the quality. We have never witnessed any rowdy or horrible people and there seem to be a lot of regulars. I also would not consider the ladies to be dirty, about average for a pub.
Going back a while there was a time when the staff kept moving away all the furniture until we were the only ones left in the middle of the room with a chair each and a table! One of the bar staff then came over and explained that they were clearing the room as a live band were coming on. We dutifully moved over and sat on bar stools with our drinks and listened to the band - who were excellent. We also had a little boogey with other people! All in all an interesting afternoon.
Will definitely be going back sometime in the future.
