点评：Arrived with friends and actors who had appeared in a local production. Initially the service was OK but when ordering our second round I felt extremely rushed by the owner who would not let me finish my order and kept interjecting with the price as if he was in a rush - the order totalled almost £70 so it was not a small order. I ordered an espresso martini but this was greeted with frowns and scowls as if they did not have the time. At no point during taking the order were we told that we would only have a certain amount of time for drinks to be drunk before closing. At 11.50 the owner/manager then opened the front door by where we were sat and said we had 10 minutes to drink up. It was a freezing night and we could not have been made to feel any less welcome by him leaving the door open. Not necessary. He then approached the table at midnight and picked up the beer bottle from my friend and said it was time to go. My friend has less than a third and it said he would finish it if given chance, this then escalated into extreme rudeness from the manager and ending in him expressing a four letter word to tell us to leave. One of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had in a bar. Yes we can be asked to vacate the premises but the way in which it was done was totally off the scale and unprofessional - not the welcome the rest of Stroud gave us! His agressive manner was totally over the top.
