点评：Each time we go to Timothy's, it seems to decline in quality, little by little. Yesterday we had breakfast there. Before you seat yourself, you have to grab your own menu, get your own napkin and cutlery, get your own water if you want some, then go up to the till to order and pay. (We wondered if next time they'd call out your table number and you'd have to go fetch your own food.) A staff person did bring our food, after that nobody came back to check things were all right, nor was anyone ever in the area for us to ask a question about our meal. It's become an expensive cafeteria. The menu is odd now, with no mention of any beverages whatsoever. Frankly, the scrambled eggs must have been a mix of egg and powdered egg--we both thought that upon eating it. They gave us a voucher for 5 quid off a purchase in the shop, gee thanks. In the shop I asked if they had any silk or artificial flowers sold individually, she said no, they have pre-made (sparse overpriced) arrangements glued into a vase! It's becoming quite sad going in there, it's getting so corporate and faceless. We won't be returning, we'd rather go to a little person-owned cafe nearby, where a person actually speaks to you and maybe even serves you! Sign of the times?
