点评：Bearing in mind how busy Moreton was on this Friday evening we were surprised that we walked in an got a table - perhaps locals knew how bad it could be1
Our waiter was a disaster - we ended up looking around to see if there were hidden cameras like Jeremy Beadle or Candid Camera did.
We ordered 3 alcohol free beers, one glass of red wine and one of white - three attempts later we got the drinks whereupon he tipped the red over one of our ladies new dresses and the male's trousers. No real apology or any idea of what to do. The couple had to go back to where we were staying - I had to go with them to go with them to the car park. When I returned the poppadoms had arrived - no plates so we ate them off the serving platter. Long after we had finished the waiter came over with side plates - we asked what they were for - he said the poppadoms and we pointed out we had eaten them 15 minutes earlier!
The owner/manager came over and we asked he take over serving us. No real apology for the wine disaster and offer to pay to have the dress and trousers cleaned. After 45 minutes our food had still not arrived. Throughout there were raised voices in the kitchen - the chef came chasing out after the waiter to get a takeaway back - shouting still going on in the restaurant. Then the waiter came out with a trolly of food - followed by more shouting from the kitchen, clattering utensils and the owner/manager having a tug of war with the waiter to take the trolly back.
By this time we had had enough with no sign of our main course food - we walked out.
Luckily we got in at the Black Bear that night and Saturday we went to The Spice Room on the Saturday - fantastic food and service - go there not here!!!
