点评：Was staying around the corner for a few days and tried Blue Fish on the first evening, when I couldn't be bothered cooking.
I lived in the south of England for twenty years and generally, fish and chips there were a big disappointment and nowhere near the quality of what I now get, where I live, in Scarborough.
The service was way above average for this type of esrablishment. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. The food was cooked to order, but I didn't have a particularly long wait. I had cod and chips and the presentation was excellent, the fish being garnished with lemon and parsley.
The fish itself was cooked to perfection but the batter was slightly rubbery, compared to the crispy batter that is de rigueur in the north of England, due, I believe, to the lower cooking temperature of oil, as opposed to dripping. The chips were excellent.
The price was very slightly more than I would usually pay at home, but nothing prohibitive.
Would happily return to Blue Fish.
