点评：Having somehow been blocked from posting via UberEats, I have turned to TripAdvisor to warn others to proceed with caution if ordering delivery from this pub via a delivery app.
I can't comment on the roast service in-house but the Deliveroastie version we received this Sunday (26 Feb 2023) was inedible.
It was also late, so Uber Eats automatically refunded us £15, which meant that my ensuing messages informing them of the cold coagulated cauliflower cheese, slimy beef, rock-solid dry pork, stale reheated (how many times??) potatoes and brick-like Yorkshire were promptly ignored.
I was then blocked from posting any sort of review. Perhaps that's why the delivery roasts are rated 4.7 on UberEats, if anyone posting a complaint to the the restaurant is then barred from reviewing?
If this was a bad day for the kitchen then sorry if this seems harsh, but I am genuinely cross that any chef or restaurant worth their salt thinks it's OK to send out an order like the one we received... especially at the price we paid: just shy of £50 for two roasts and two sides. I can't imagine any chef or kitchen daring to serve food this dire to anyone who they would then actually have to look in the eye....
We ordered after 3pm so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but to be honest, if a restaurant is happy to take £50 for two meals they should be delivering edible food whatever time of day it is. Really shameful to be honest and not cool at all.
