Battle of Trafalgar的点评
点评：Been to the Battle of Trafalgar a lot over the years, as its close to the main train station, but first time in ages yesterday, and definitely not what it used to be, which is a shame.
They also now do pie & mash, which we all had. Whilst tasty, talk about overpriced for a shop bought pie on a small amount of mash, with grated cheese and dry onion sprinkled on top of the pie. Surely that would go better on the mash! At least the gravy was hot! The names of the pies on the board are the same as the shop ones, see photos from a well known supermarket, so thought I'd heard of the pies before. To add insult to injury, they had no peas to go with it, so knocked a pound off, was still £15 each though! Not being funny, but there's supermarkets 5 mins down the road, so maybe go and buy some frozen peas before serving the pies.
I'm not sure many of us would go back there to eat tbh, if that's all they mainly do now.
One last thing, if you pay by card, this may come up on your receipt or online banking....made me chuckle
