点评：The Junction is less of a pub and more of a sporting colosseum, where football reigns supreme and the pints flow faster than a winger on a counterattack. It’s the kind of place where everyone suddenly becomes an expert in tactics, VAR decisions, and the exact moment a manager should’ve been sacked.
Sean, the main barman, is a one-man entertainment system. Not only does he serve drinks at lightning speed, but he also has an entire catalogue of laughs—each one more unpredictable than the last. Sometimes it’s a deep belly laugh, sometimes it’s a high-pitched cackle that makes you question reality. You’ll hear it before you see him, echoing across the room like some sort of football-obsessed banshee.
And then there’s the electrodarts. A game that sounds futuristic but mostly involves people aggressively missing the board while shouting “ONE HUNDRED AND EIIIIIGHTY” at wildly incorrect moments. I watched a bloke celebrate like he won the World Championship for hitting a single 5. Iconic.
Would I come back? If there’s football on, if I need to hear Sean’s latest laugh compilation, or if I just want to watch grown men take electrodarts far too seriously—then yes. Every single time.
