点评：Whilst the food itself was perfectly average the overall experience was appalling. I’ve eaten here many times in the past though not for several years and it used to be wonderful. Such a shame!
We were given a very cramped table up against the wall, back to back with another table. No one could move! Very uncomfortable.
We waited 20 minutes to order. The main course arrived before our starter half an hour later. We drew their attention to this. They said that we had had the starter, which we hadn’t. They asked if we were sure (duh…🤔). They took the main away and brought our starter.
When the main returned it had clearly been reheated. By this time we’d given up and were too exhausted to argue.
The mains were fine in terms of taste. However, usually a tikka masala will be served in a bowl for the diner to spoon out onto a plate. This was served in a large bowl with the side of rice. This meant that it was impossible to get the ratio of rice/masala to our liking. Having everything in one bowl was unpleasant.
The waiting staff were grumpy throughout. I noted this with other diners too.
We asked for out bill at the end. We waited over 20 minutes for it, during which time other diners requesting bills after us received theirs.
When we declined to pay a tip saying that we had had a poor experience, no attempt was made to find out what had gone wrong or to offer any discount .
Altogether a grim experience not to be repeated.
