Dartmouth Inn的点评
点评：Today I was out with my family in Totnes, spending time together and going shopping.
Before heading out, we already decided to dine out at this pub, well my mom suggested going here.
I have been to the pub before, only once, I say around about 2019 or 2020, can't remember exact date.
And we already been to another pub for the last two times so wanted to try somewhere new and different.
When I first enter Dartmouth Inn with my family, we were immediately hit with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It made be a bit different from the last time we were here, but it still has a cosy feel to it.
The two staff members who were working at the time were friendly and helpful.
For example I ask where the toilets are in the pub and one of the staff member pointed me in the right direction.
I went to the one on the ground floor and on the way there, you have to be careful of not to trip on any of the steps around the building.
My grandad nearly trip and fell down on the floor from one of the steps along with me as well.
Pus the toilet in the ladies has a weird sink which is attach to the toilet.
Bizarre, never seen anything like it, any other eating place I have been to the two were separated from each other.
Once sat down, we were handed a menu each and inform us about the special board, which shows what today specials are.
From looking at the menu, I notice instantly that it looks different from the one on their website.
Like for example some of the dishes were very different.
For example, there was a dish which is simple to Hunter Chicken on the website, but not on the menu.
I don't know if they know about this or I look at the wrong website, I just wanted to bring this up in my review just in case.
But the menu does have a nice layout to it and plenty of options to choose from.
So first we order our drinks, I ordered orange and passion fruit J2O.
The staff member brings it over on a black tray and serve us the correct drinks that we have order.
Next we order some food, I ordered an beef lasagne, one of the options from the the special board.
The food was spot on, the lasagne cook perfectly and warm.
Good portion of salad on the side and served with some lovely crispy garlic bread.
Clean cutlery to use to eat my food with and an napkin to wipe my mouth afterwards.
I definitely would be coming back here again and would recommend anyone to try this pub out.
