点评:I had to visit your hotel on 3 occasions over the last weekend 11th - 13th April.
As I had been here on many occasions in the past, I proceeded to pay for my parking via the ‘Pay by phone’ parking app.
On 3 occasions, the app was saying it didn’t recognise the location code 808348 I was inputting. On 3 occasions, I went to the Victoria reception to pay for my parking, which in itself isn’t a big issue.
But on each of those occasions, I spoke to a different receptionist and relayed the problem I was having. I even showed them my phone and the app was clearly showing!
At no time did ANY of them advise me that the Pay by Phone app had ceased at your hotel from 26th March. I have since been in contact with the Pay by Phone app company and they have now informed me of the correct company/app I should be using. Maybe you should do the same so that you can correctly inform your guests which app they should be using.
I could have been saved a lot of time and hassle. I tried un-installing and re-installing the app numerous times because I thought there was an issue with my phone/settings etc.
I wonder how many of your guests are going to end up with parking fines through no fault of their own because your staff don’t know the basic facts about the hotel in which they work.
