点评：Second time at the new inn and even better than the first! It's nice to visit clovelli but even better to stay a night or two at the new inn. In the evenings, when the day trippers have all gone home, the village becomes it's true, charming self. Everyone is happy to talk to you, it's like you are a local because you are sleeping in their village not just zooming in and zooming out again. Nowhere is this more evident than in the new inn. We were welcomed with open arms and it felt like it was instantly our home. The food was outstanding, local fish dishes and some interesting plates created by chef. We both ate from the specials board, mussels in a cider sauce, prawn jambalaya, pork schnitzel and a fabulous fish chowder which my wife proclaimed was better than in the US! We never made dessert, the mains were hearty and substantial but they looked good as they passed by. If you are staying, seek out Gina, the breakfast chef, she he is a kind and generous lady who cooks up a glorious full English! Everything was there and was perfect, from the runny poached eggs to the lightly crisped bacon and on to some doorstep granary toast. Be nice to her and she will make you fried bread...it's off menu but nothing is too much trouble for Gina! Go to Clovelli, stay at the new inn and prepare for a cracking good time!!
