点评：We are another family who experienced the 'we booked months ago asking for a table at the front of the terrace' and were given the back corner table with no views for anyone. We also received the 'first come, first served' nonsense. Within minutes, two tables that would seat our party of 6 became available, and I asked to move. I was told no, and I insisted politely, pointing out the specific request I had made three months prior. Lo and behold, another conflab between waitress and manager, and we got the move to tables with fabulous views over the bay. We had stunning views and a lovely meal. It was laughable that we were charged £4 for a bread and Cornish butter starter; we ordered two, but it arrived as three slices of bread cut from a loaf after our main meal was served. And not even sourdough!!! Rip off, but I was too exhausted from the view issues to complain. Would I return? For the view tables, yes. If I were offered a table at the back of the terrace (less of a terrace, more of a deep room, open at the front), absolutely not. The cafe's USP is its views, but it fails to mention that the views are from front-row tables only (4 tables). Got to say, the crab sandwich was delicious, as were the fish and chips and sizzling prawns. Wine was hugely overpriced £36 being very average in quality
