点评：We visited for the first time at the beginning of August. We had booked a table and were quickly seated. The restaurant was incredibly busy and noisy. Most of the noise was coming from one table where two young children were being allowed to shout and squeal at the top of their voices whilst the rest of the adults just talked loudly over them. It was a relief to us and the staff when they eventually left.
The menu is quite good and they offer a lunchtime deal which is what we took advantage of. They also have cocktails which, again, we took advantage of!
The mains arrived within a reasonable amount of time along with our cocktails. Unfortunately, both of the mains were rather bland and we asked for black pepper and cheese, which arrived quickly but didn’t really lift the flavour much.
We ordered a second cocktail and a dessert each. Then we waited. After a further 15 minutes, we asked one of the waiting staff to chase up our desserts. Her reply was that the kitchen was extremely busy and we would just have to wait. The desserts arrived a few minutes later and were very nice.
Overall, we were disappointed with our visit and won’t be in a hurry to go back.
