The New Inn的点评
点评：My wife and I visited for valentines lunch and to make use of a voucher we'd been given for an anniversary gift.
Although the surroundings and service met our expectations the food fell very short. I ordered the fish and chips at £18.
The tiniest piece of fish arrived, half of which was batter and greasy. The 'mock' newspaper it was served on disintegrated way before my lunch was finished. Poor quality, minute Portion for the price.
My wife ordered two starters as a main with a portion of chips. The souffle and the salmon. The salmon portion £11 was less than a good mouthful, overcooked and missing the taste of hoisin sauce promised on the menu. The souffle at £9 was more akin to scrabble egg and lacked any taste of cheese.
Over priced, poor portion sizes and poor quality.
If you intend to charge over the odds prices New Inn at least give your customers value for money and good quality cuisine.
