Blacktail Bake + Brew的点评
点评：Blacktail Bake + Brew, a subsidiary of the wildly popular Blacktail Restaurant (2019), opened to significant fanfare in late June of this year. Conveniently located next to its parent restaurant, Bake + Brew is a compact space offering coffee, baked goods, soup, sandwiches and “a small food retail market.” While indoor seating is extremely limited, the Blacktail patio is available for those who wish to “dine in” and enjoy the views along bustling Wharf Street.
I’ve dined here a handful of times and enjoyed each experience. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient while the sandwiches are top-notch. Of the sandwiches I’ve tried thus far, I’d say the Turkey w/ bacon has been my favourite: Fresh bread, vibrant greens and delightful cheese = a delicious lunchtime repast. My only advice? If getting a sandwich, ask for it to be warmed up. The one time I grabbed a sandwich “as is” (cold), I found the bread kind of dry . . . but otherwise, everything – from the baked goods, sandwiches and drinks – has been very good.

RECOMMENDATION: I think this new venture by Blacktail is a good one. It diversifies the food offerings while also casting a slightly wider net and catching the breakfast and lunch crowd. The best part? Lunch is always very satisfying! Recommended!
