点评：DW and I went out for a late dinner last night, trying the Iron Horse which we'd not been to in some time. Walked in, no one acknowledged us. Not a busy night, maybe 25 people in the place. No waitstaff in sight. One bartender, couldn't see anyone in the back of house (couldn't see the back of house actually.). Bartender's chatting up his friends on the far end of the bar. Tables to our right have people watching sportball. Karaoke starts in an hour...
We sit there. Bartender looks our way once, walks into the back, goes back to chatting up his friends. I ask my wife, what does it take to get served around here? She shakes her head.
DW gets up, self serves some icewater from a carafe.
Two minutes after that, we get up and leave, unacknowledged. Time on site, 10 minutes.
Drive to another joint we've been to before. Immediately greeted by waitress and bartender, seated immediately, water served immediately. Menus in hand. Order drinks, three minutes later they're on the table. A few minutes later food order is taken. Ten minutes after that, it's on our table and it's perfect.
30% tip, and enough leftovers for lunch today. I'll never darken the door of the Iron Horse again.
