Relaxing Stay with Kids at Hotel Sonar Bangla, Kolaghat

We had a fantastic family stay at Hotel Sonar Bangla, Kolaghat! The property is beautifully located beside the Rupnarayan River and is very well maintained.
What We Loved:
• 🏡 Spacious and Clean Property – Great lawn, lots of open space, and a large kids’ play area.
• 🏊♂️ Huge Swimming Pool – Clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable for both adults and kids.
• 🛏️ Large Rooms with Balcony – Well-decorated interiors and comfortable bedding.
• 🍽️ Excellent Food – The main restaurant “Roopnarayaner Teere” and the bar/lounge “Ripples” serve delicious and diverse options.
• 🚗 Ample Parking – Hassle-free for those traveling by car.
• 👨👩👧👦 Kid-Friendly Amenities – Includes a kids’ playroom, indoor games, gym, and spa.
• 🌅 Scenic Location – Riverside view adds to the relaxation and overall experience.
• The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, which really enhanced our experience.
Minor Drawback:
• 🔊 Loud Music from Ripples – Music from the bar was audible in our room until around 10–11 PM. Not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind if you prefer quiet evenings.
Overall:
We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Hotel Sonar Bangla, Kolaghat for a family weekend getaway or short vacation. Lots to do for both adults and kids!
Would definitely love to return.
