Sizzle House的点评
点评：Sizzle house, the name says it all. Yup the famous sizzlers, one of the few inventions that actually helps you eat hot food in every single bite.
We went for dinner to the Sizzle House on 19th June 2023.
Below is my review based on our personal experience:
1. Parking:
Parking space is limited noting that the same building houses many restaurants. No valet parking. However since we went on a weekday we managed to find a free parking slot.
2. Table setup:
The table configurations are 2, 3 and 4. Also they have a long table with high chairs as well.
3. Air condition:
The air con is pretty strong, and since the false ceiling is shaped like a dome and the AC vents are on the doom curved ceiling, it is superbly chilly. However the middle section of the floor has the right temperature since it doesn’t get direct AC vent cool air.
4. The food:
Among the three of us (2 adults and 1 child) we ordered the Peri Peri chicken sizzler, chicken sausage sizzler, and the intriguing kappa Biriyani sizzler.
Presentation of the food was amazing.
However the French fries served part of the peri peri and chicken sausage sizzlers where thin cut but where very dry and looked dehydrated. It felt like it was reheated as it was squeaky and not crispy at all although it was in the sizzler pan.
The steamed veggies also served with the peri peri and chicken sausage sizzlers didn’t have any taste as it lacked basic seasoning, but the quality of vegetables was good.
The white buttered rice served was not having the right amount of butter thereby resulting in the rice getting burned in the sizzler pan over the course of the meal. But the rice did have nice flavor of spices.
The egg served on a half bun was really soft and of the right texture with a runny yolk complimenting the entire meal.
The peri peri chicken served on a bed of cabbage was really very tasty and so was the kappa Biriyani sizzler. Kudos to the chef for that.
Also some items in the menu was not available. Moreover the entire menu items of coffee was not available, this was really sad as we where really looking forward to having some freshly pressed and brewed coffee from the amazing looking coffee machine kept at the counter.
Would like to put forth few recommendations for consideration by the restaurant:
a. Please look into the French fries served, even if it is thin cut please provide it crispy fried. Incase the kitchen is using an air fryer, if oil is sprayed before frying then the crispness remains retained.
b. The rice would need to be seasoned a bit more with butter to avoid the rice getting burnt in the sizzle plate during the meal course.
c. Please season the veggies including salt and pepper and oil (olive oil drizzle etc.), to take away the blandness from the veggies.
d. If certain items in the menu is not available it would be really helpful if the staff could inform that in advance to the customers when handing over the menu so that the customers don’t have to change there mind at the end after choosing.
e. Your coffee machine is an amazing equipment, it would be really lovely to have been able to experience some good fresh pressed coffee specially during rainy season. Please do help to keep it operational.
5. Cleanliness
Overall the tables and chairs where clean. However what needs to be paid urgent attention to by the cleaning staff is cleanliness of the floor, washroom and basins.
During our dining time, the floor around had dirt and few tissues strewn here and there. I do understand it is tricky to clean the floor specially during service time, however this needs to be deligently and tactically handled between service.
We did see the cleaning staff brushing the floor dirt at one area but the center entire floor was left all alone dirty.
There are two wash basins, but the taps where dirty and needed cleaning. Bathroom was really very dirty and extremely stinky and it had black stains everywhere. It would be really helpful if the cleaning staff could keep an eye on this matter which is wash basins and bathroom and frequently clean them and keep them sanitized.
Also the main door had lot of hand prints on it of people using the door frequently. In these times it would be really helpful to see the restaursnt main door is often cleaned and sanitized.
Also before sitting a guest to a table, during the table clesning time please do ensure the salt and pepper shakers are clean, the table assigned to us had salt all over the top of the shaker and pepper shaker had dirty food stains.
6. Staff:
The staff are very polite and caring. They are attentive and always ready to address any requirements of the customer.
Overall it was a refreshing change to have been able to enjoy a sizzler during the wonderful rainy season.

我们确实看到清洁人员在一个区域刷地板污垢，但中心整个地板都脏了。
有两个洗手盆，但水龙头很脏，需要清洁。浴室真的很脏而且非常臭，到处都是黑色的污渍。如果清洁人员能够关注洗手盆和浴室这一问题并经常清洁和保持消毒，那将非常有帮助。
大门上还有很多经常使用该门的人的手印。在这些时候，看到餐厅大门经常清洁和消毒真的很有帮助。
另外，在让客人坐到餐桌前，在清洁餐桌期间，请确保盐瓶和胡椒瓶是干净的，分配给我们的桌子上的盐瓶和胡椒瓶的顶部都有盐，胡椒瓶上有肮脏的食物污渍。
6. 人员：
