Following the new operators taking over, we fully intended to continue our patronage, but I'm sad to say that after three attempts, we have finally been forced to abandon those plans. So, what's gone wrong?
Well, fish and chips have been added to the menu. It's not a bad thing on the face of it, but, it would seem, either insufficient or not enough extraction fans are in operation in the kitchen. It is now a decidedly unpleasant experience to have to sit in a fug of frying oil fumes whilst having one's coffee and scone. Following on from which we head for home with the smell well embedded in our clothing and our eyes sore and smarting for some time after.
I would imagine that if you are working in this environment all the time, you might not notice this problem, but several of your regulars are finding the situation somewhat challenging.
I thought it only fair to raise this with you so that you might be able to address the problem, should you so wish.
