点评：There are a lot of places I haven’t explored yet in BGC and one of them is Apartment 1B. Here are my thoughts:
1. The place is really nice and cozy.
2. Staff are friendly and accommodating. They really know the food and what to recommend based on your cravings.
3. I ordered Cheese Wontons with Spicy Marinara, Blue Cheese and Walnut Salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette, and Grilled Porkchop with Homemade Apple Sauce. All of them were delicious.
Cheese Wontons- It’s similar to what I’ve tried from other places but what I liked was the spicy marinara. This was the first time I had this with marinara sauce. I enjoyed the cheesy flavor with a spicy kick.
Blue Cheese and Walnut Salad - Blue cheese isn’t my favorite cheese because of its strong taste but surprisingly, it went well with the salad. I really liked vinaigrette dressing especially strawberry. I enjoy the sweet and tangy flavors.
Grilled Porkchop with Homemade Apple Sauce - I really love grilled Porkchop but it’s quite hard to look for a good one. Mostly that I’ve tried were overcooked therefore, it’s hard to cut and hard to chew. But with this one, it’s tender and tastes even better with the apple sauce. I even asked for an extra sauce with no charge. 😉
4. Dessert was okay. I had Lava Cake a la Mode and Latte. The cake was okay. I had better.
5. The dishes were a bit pricey but it was kind of expected given the location and the ambience. But it was worth every cent.
Overall, I really had a nice dinner here. I can’t wait to try their other meals. They said their pizza’s good.
