点评：I ordered 2 pate starters and a prawn cocktail
starter and in total (inc delivery) was £23.00.
I was shocked at the meagre portion size though even more shocked at the unprofessional reply when I did complain. As you can see the pate was served in a pot that most restaurants and takeaway use for cooking condiments like mayo and tomato sauce.
I was then advised this was a starter portion which I was well aware of and then they had the audacity to say if I wanted a larger portion then to order as a main. The prawns were shrimps and again very few of them tho was advised that prawns are extremely expensive. I know the price of prawns and for what they charged you could buy king prawns and a whole packet of them which would still allow an ample profit and more to be made.
It was pointed out no one else had ever complained tho perhaps they need to venture further afield as have never been served such a small portion in my life it was actually a joke. They implied I was being greedy saying they would have offered me more toast FOC if I was so hungry tho why as there would be no pate for the toast.
I wish I had taken a photo of the portion of prawns too. There is overcharging and there is ripping people off and I would say both apply on this occasion.
I thought was I over reacting so I shared this and everyone agreed infact mostly with laughing emoji’s. This restaurant was always good with adequate portions and quality food tho something has went very wrong somewhere along the line and
that’s includes how to deal with customers when they are unhappy.
