点评:Upon arriving in Montreal and checking in to our hotel we went out looking for a bite to eat. We happened upon Vallier we went in and were greeted very warmly. The atmosphere is quaint and charming. Our server was pleasant and very helpful to answer questions and suggestions. We ordered Escargot that was absolutely amazing‼️the best I ever had. They also had s salmon mousse that was good but nothing compared to the escargot. We had a couple glasses of Sancerre that was cold and crisp and paired well with our small bites.
So the next day after a very long walking tour we decided to return since it was close to our hotel. We had the same server and again she was very friendly and pleasant. I wish I could remember her name. I really wanted to taste the Onion soup and I was craving the escargot. Again they were delicious we also decided to share the Brussel sprout Caesar salad with duck. It was very flavorful however not much salad. We then decided to share the mussels.My friend loved them I was not impressed very tomato forward and not very hot. Cocktails are not generous pours best to stick with wine, we had both, again the Sancerre was delicious. I should have gotten the soup. Oh well maybe a third trip is in the future.
