点评：Went there for dinner on a Sunday evening in April. Ordered grilled scallops as an appetizer and it arrived a bit cold. Then for the main course I ordered the steak which arrived tepid. I complained to the waiter who was very attentive and had the steak reheated but now the vegetables were way over cooked. Meanwhile this attempt to correct things meant my spouse and I did not eat at the same time. Complained again and the manager arrived and did not charge me for my meal which was a nice good will gesture. My spouse ordered the scallops as well and arrived cold but said nothing. Overall disappointing despite previous meals there.
I recently made another reservation for September to celebrate my birthday and today I received an email and call from the manager that my reservation was cancelled. I booked a weekend at the Doubletree Hilton where the Bivouac is housed just to try the restaurant again. Bad move as I prepaid the hotel which is non refundable so I’m on the hook.
I called the hotel about this and was told that the restaurant is closed for renovations which I doubt as if they were actually renovating they would know long in advance and not take any bookings. Also told they didn’t know when it would reopen. I wonder if they are having financial difficulties and maybe in receivership??? Beware for now something is not right.
