点评:having struck out in Halifax (no good second book stores there) I was directed by friends to this little gem in Charlottetown. On entering I asked for the Bill Bryson section (very popular British American travel writer) and was asked did I want his travel writings or scientific writings (author Bill has also penned a couple of scientific histories). We started with travel and I found a couple of paperbacks I wanted. Then was escorted to the science section and picked up his A Short History of Nearly Evenything...informative and very entertaining. I was only going to buy one book but was quietly counselled by the very well informed young lady (I think she must be the owner) that if I bought two books...I would get a third one free. So I travelled the rest of the Maritimes with 3 Brysons in my bag - what a deal. Every town should have a second hand book shop like this.
