点评：There is a saying that you only get one chance to make a first impression. I had never tried anything from Five Forks prior to today and I did not have a favorable first impression/experience.
After undergoing surgery earlier today, I decided to treat myself to a take out dinner from a restaurant I've never tried before, and ordered through Skip The Dishes. While the order was prepared and delivered promptly, it was not prepared accurately. All I received was the meat and coleslaw. I did not get the side of fries that was to be included.
When I called the restaurant they took no responsibility for sending an incomplete order. Instead, they told me I had to call Skip the Dishes for a refund. When I contacted them, they offered a credit, but no refund. And neither party made any offer to correct the order by sending the fries.
Considering the sizable amount I paid for an order that was not complete when it was delivered, I have no intention of using Five Forks ever again and will no longer use Skip The Dishes. I cannot with good conscience recommend Five Forks or Skip to anyone I know.
As for the meat, the three chicken thighs were dry and rather bland. The five chicken wings, which were supposed to be somewhat spicy, were also very bland. KFC, which I have also had terrible take out experiences with, taste far better as would a McChicken sandwich from McDonalds.
Terrible for such a pricy "local" operation.
