点评:The company was fantastic as always, the Med Supper Club not so much.
We were so looking forward to this dining experience as they are very adept on social media to grab your attention but the experience definitely wasn’t the one we planned.
From the time of the reservation it was not good, they take a $25 deposit for each person up front that you lose should you modify, cancel or no show for your reservation at least 24hrs in advance. I understand the cancel or no show portion for sure however, you don’t get your deposit back for 2-3 business days after your reservation.
The Bad:
- Ladies washroom no toilet paper on a Friday night at 7:30
- holes in the wall behind each of the women’s toilets…don’t ask me why
- if you need an accessible washroom, you need to use the bathroom in the restaurant next door
-The waiter was an over sharer with a dirty button down
- drinks were ordered at the same time but never showed up together
-meal was ordered at the same time but only 3 of 4 dishes were brought out, the 4th dish we had to wait 5 minutes more for it to be brought out
- the dish in question, a Waygu steak ($225 cut of meat), was ordered medium rare, more on the rare side, arrived medium well to well done without a steak knife and that was the last straw.
- manager came over asked for feedback, we gave it to him while being respectful of course he then proceeded to give that feedback right there to the waiter while he was still waiting on us. Waiter came out and confronted us at the table saying he was just yelled at because of our complaint.
- As we were leaving the diner who had ordered and cancelled their $225 steak after the first one was way over cooked spoke to a “gentleman” who claimed to be one of the owners, mainsplained to said lady that “you don’t know what a good cut of meat is and your waiter didn’t educate you on our method of cooking to temperature”
The owner who has been in the paper saying how he wants this restaurant to be the go to fine dining location was sitting literally in the next booth and saw everything that happened and heard the commotion but did not once step in.
The Good
- My meal, chicken supreme was quite good
- another one of our diners enjoyed her lamb
- they did comp our entire dining experience so there is that, whether I see my deposit again we shall see.
The Very Good
- these three amazing ladies that were able to take it all in stride and ended up having an amazing end of evening and some shared stories and inside jokes.
All in all this place was a complete nightmare and for the money embarrassing. I would avoid this restaurant but if you go remember…diner beware.
