Condescending drivers who overcharge without receipts

点评：We took a Toronto Pearson Airport taxi #655, which was driven by Iqbal S (driver 084) from AirFlightServices.
We paid for the trip by credit card and requested for a receipt. Iqbal merely gave us the transaction statement printed by the credit card payment terminal and insisted adamantly that it was the "official" receipt.
The transaction statement printed by the payment terminal only shows the total amount paid. It cannot be used for any official accounting purposes in Canada because it does not show the services rendered, fee breakdown for each service provided, and the applicable taxes levied. By right, Iqbal should have issued us a proper receipt, which he completely denied.
Making matters worse, Iqbal condescendingly asked us "Is this your first time in Canada? This is the official receipt and there are no other receipts in Canada!". This statement from Iqbal is not warranted and must be censured.
Transaction statement printed by the payment terminal alone is not sufficient and customers can easily be cheated. In our case, the taxi limo tariff was quoted as CAD82 in the Toronto Pearson Airport website, but Iqbal charged us CAD83. Since the transaction statement printed by the payment terminal only shows the total amount of CAD83 without any detailed fee breakdown, the customer (i.e., us) will never know whether the charge is appropriate or not.
We forwarded our complaint to AirFlight Services and to Toronto Pearson Airport. Sadly, both of them did not respond and did not take any action.
Customers should not support AirFlightServices and drivers like Iqbal who have extremely poor business practices. If we support these businesses and these people, they will ultimately come back to bite us in the form of dubious fees charged and mediocre services.
